Welcome to H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque

History doesn't live in the past. It lives here.

Lauren N. Sellers believes the full story of Black excellence has never had the space it deserves. H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque is her answer to that.

A world-class interior design expert, mission-driven mentor, Sellers co-founded the award-winning seven-figure decorating firm Trust the Vision Decor, and the visionary behind H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque — a trademarked immersive design methodology that translates the victories and triumphs of Black ancestral history into physical spaces, making every room a living museum where history hides in plain sight.

For over a decade, Lauren has been recognized as a powerhouse in the design industry. As co-founder of Trust the Vision Decor, her work has been featured by Architectural Digest, Behr Paint, and Houzz, among others. She has been sought after by celebrities and CEOs for personal renovations and has appeared in multiple major media outlets including Fox and the NBC Today Show to showcase her talent, expertise, and vision.

As co-founder of Aspiring Designers Academy, Lauren has mentored hundreds of rising designers, helping them generate millions in their own businesses while equipping them for long-term success through her unique approach to client-designer relationships and her business-in-a-box strategy. Many of her students have gone on to leave their day jobs, win awards, work with celebrities, and earn affiliations with major media publications. Her guidance has consistently transformed emerging talent into industry professionals.

With over seven figures generated and a proven record of building and scaling creative enterprises, Lauren is now directing that same force toward something entirely new. H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque.

It is the first licensable immersive design methodology of its kind. Every space begins with a theme — often a phrase carrying double meaning, language reclaimed and reversed into a declaration of triumph. From that theme, ancestor stories are excavated across every domain of human achievement — mathematics, architecture, science, philosophy, literature, medicine, agriculture, and spiritual practice. Those stories are then translated into physical space through materiality, objects, color, texture, and spatial narrative. The room is not decorated. It is storied from the foundation outward. Every piece carries a voice history tried to silence — and through immersive technology, H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque is bringing it back.

Each space activates its ancestor stories through one intentionally selected layer — handcrafted placards that introduce each ancestor and their connection to the space, generative AI animations that bring those stories to life on screen, or a phone-based augmented reality experience that makes the pieces themselves come alive in the hands of the guest. Each space. One activation. Fully intentional. The history is not displayed. It is activated.

The first commercial expression of the methodology, Origins Café, opens June 2026 in Florida — built around the origin story of Black history told through the lens of coffee itself. Every guest who walks in stands inside the full arc of how a drink now claimed by the world found its origin in Black history. This space tells that story.

Today Lauren’s mission extends far beyond a single space. Through H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque she is building a complete ecosystem — certifying Legacy Designers worldwide as carriers of the code, establishing the H.O.U.S.E.D. Artisan Guild to connect methodology-aligned makers to every certified space, and cultivating a membership community of keepers of the code who belong to the broader cultural movement. The standard does not yet exist. She is building it.

Her central focus is simple: Black excellence fully on display— across every domain of human achievement — the rule, not the exception. The parallel narrative has always existed. H.O.U.S.E.D. Inn Blaque creates the spaces that make that impossible to forget.

We are more. We always have been.
